The most effective way to increase sales in my store is by having more artists near me that I can contact. This will allow me to easily reach out and sell my artwork faster.
However, it takes a lot of effort to find these great artists near me. It has been almost impossible for me to personally interview each one of them individually. This is a huge time and cost saver.
Artists in the same business as I have a website and an email list of friends and family members that they know personally. They are able to contact people like me much easier because they already have a relationship with people on their list. The benefit to this is that they already know some of the names of potential buyers. Plus, if you are selling your own work, you know who is already interested in what you have to offer.
